How Often Do You Use A Planner?

Planners are used in Pocomoke High School as a pass to leave class. Some teachers will not allow their students to leave their class unless they have their planner to carry with them when in the halls.

Students are required to get their planner signed by their teacher after writing in the planner under the current day  the time they’ve left the class and where they’re headed to.

Some students may feel that it's unnecessary to carry around a planner especially when the restroom is across from their class. However, there are students who go elsewhere, rather than where

they said.

Some students will wander the halls without their planner, and there are others who rarely use them when leaving a class.

If a student is seen in the halls without a planner, they’re usually stopped for not having one and sent back to class. It isn’t very often that this happens and isn’t much of an issue at all for most students.

Some teachers allow students to use a planner that they provide for those who may have lost theirs and don’t have a planner. They will also have a sign out sheet for students to sign out. Students will also borrow a planner from a friend or fellow classmate.

“Most kids lose them the first couple months of school anyway. Waste of money as most kids don’t use them or care about them,” said Pocomoke High School Junior, Michaela Redden.
