Everyone at Pocomoke High School has wondered to themselves “How many jerseys does Mr. Frank own?” at least once. Every day he comes to work wearing a professional sports jersey and you never see him wear the same one twice in a month. “I have a little over 500 jerseys, I started collecting them almost 15 years ago.”  He has always loved jerseys, it's just his thing. When he was younger he played a lot of sports, basketball, baseball, and football. His favorite was football. “I always loved football and still do, I played Tailback and Inside Linebacker.” Some days he brings two or three jerseys with him and changes them over the course of the day. The most he's worn in one day is two. First block he could be wearing a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar jersey and then change into a Michael Jordan jersey.

Mr. Frank has many jerseys but he also has favorites. “My favorite is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s LA Lakers, my second is Michael Jordan then Bill Russell from the Celtics, he has eleven rings.” He said he also likes Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt Chamberlain was 7’1” and played for the Harlem Globetrotters, the Philadelphia/ San Francisco Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Coached for the San Diego Conquistadors.

Being the janitor at a high school is not a very popular job, having to clean up after students and teachers everyday, having to come in all year even when the students and teachers are on summer break, but Mr. Frank likes his job. “It's a good job, it comes with good benefits.” Before he became a Janitor, he was a self employed painter for thirty three years. Everyday you can see him talking to students about the basketball game last night, or joking around with teachers and just enjoying his job.
