Pocomoke High School has decided to take action and be a part of the post-it wars challenge. Dr. Annette Wallace, the principal of Pocomoke High School,  saw this event on Twitter which gave her the idea to do it in school as well.

Each subject will be participating in this event, “Englishes, maths, histories, sciences, and special areas,” said Mrs. Tobiassen, the art teacher at Pocomoke High School. All teachers will have until December 16th to put up their post-it note moral. This event will be held in the cafeteria and each subject has their own window to show off their morals.

Some students thought this event was connected to Christmas break, but according to Mrs. Tobiassen, it is “just for fun.” This post-it war challenge is not just meant for teachers, but the students as well. “Students will vote for their favorite design during lunch shifts.” The winning team will be rewarded by Dr. Wallace. So far the only post-it moral that has been completed is a design of the Disney character, the Grinch, done by the history department.

Since Christmas is slowly approaching, one rule that will be strictly reinforced during this challenge is that each moral must be a holiday theme. All teachers will have the opportunity to choose any Christmas character of their choice.

Pocomoke High School always finds a way to add a little fun and joy throughout the school year and the post-it wars challenge will top it off for the Christmas holiday. Good luck to everybody that will be participating.
