In some states, kids are required to wear uniform from kindergarten to 8th grade. Mostly all high schools don't require uniforms. Other schools do not provide uniforms for students. What if uniforms were required for high school student?  There are lots of debates on whether or not students should wear uniforms. Mostly every student would rather choose their own clothes to wear.

There are things that uniforms stop students from doing. Nobody wants to look like everyone else around them, and schools that provides uniforms don't allow the kids to look how they want. “ i wouldn't want to wear uniforms in high school, also younger kids shouldn't wear uniforms, kids should be able to choose their own outfit” said Ashleigh Dillon, a junior at Pocomoke High School.

People say that not not wearing uniforms can cause bullying. Rather or not schools provide uniforms to students, there is always going to be some form of bullying going on in schools. The most important problems that uniforms cause is that it stops kids from being themselves no matter what grade they're in. “ uniforms stop us from expressing ourselves, i would not like the idea of wearing uniforms in High School at all, i am against uniforms” said Dillon.

Let's talk about the good things in uniforms, if there’s any. A Lot of parent are not against uniforms, they find it easier to shop for school uniforms rather than regular clothes. “ uniforms are less expensive, it would also be faster to get ready in the morning, your outfit would just be there for you” said Dillon.

Rather or not schools should require students to wear uniform is always going to be a debate. What should be more important about this topic is that we should be allowed to have individuality and to express ourselves as student any way we want.
