For the past couple of weeks the highways in town and around the area  have been under major construction and does not seem to be finishing up anytime soon. This has caused many issues for the large

amount people that have to drive using these route. Making it so they have to leave earlier than usually not to get caught in traffic or be late to work, and other activities that they may have to do that day.

“It makes me late to work almost all the time, because people stop and drive slow when they go over the bumps and they don't know how to drive on the unpaved roads” Sam Baysinger said. Baysinger also said “On a good day I’m only 5 to 10 minutes late but in some cases I have been 30 minutes late for work”. Luckily for her, her boss is very understanding about this since she herself has to go through the hassle of the road construction.

There are some like Baysinger who are late to work and then there are some like Mr. Roderick McQuaid who aren’t late to work as his daily commute to work its affected by the road work. However, McQuaid states “ It does affect me when I have to take my son to his soccer practice and I have to sometimes”. When asked how he would feel if it took another 3 months to finish McQuaid shared how he wouldn’t actually be surprised if it did.

This may be the case also with winter coming around the corner road work my slow down and have to be picked up and finished at a later time, which would only making it worse for people like Baysinger or McQuaid.
