On Sunday, 10:08pm was the start of the United States’ deadliest massacre. 22,000 people gathered around watching Jason Aldean perform at the Route 91 Harvest festival. At least 59 dead and 527 injured.

Witness and survivor Kimberly Folle stated that there was gunshot noise at the beginning of one of Jason Aldean’s songs. Folle believes that others might not have heard it due to the loud music.

"On the main floor, everyone was covering but there was no cover, they were all exposed," witness Dees Mansholt said. "So, you didn't know if somebody was shot or if they were laying down."

Many concert goers made a mad dash for the exits. People were piling on top of each other trying to get out of the line of gunfire.

The shooter was identified as 64 year old, Stephen Paddock. Paddock is divorced with no children. He lived in a retirement community in Mesquite, NA. Paddock’s brother Eric Paddock knew he had a few hand guns and a rifle but, didn't know about any automatic weapons. Eric Paddock also revealed that their father was on the Top 10 FBI Most Wanted list. Stephen Paddock’s motives are still unknown at this time.

Paddock was found dead in his hotel room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay Hotel where he conducted the shooting. Paddock had around 23 firearms in his hotel room. There was an additional 19 firearms in his home. His girlfriend was out of the country at the time and is believed to have no connection to the shooting.

On Monday, Nevadans wait in long lines to give blood to those who are injured. Others have been donating plane tickets, food, housing, and transportation to the families of victims.
