Bowls Are The New Plates

    Many of today's biggest foods are ate out of a bowl. Bowls are big in the world of eating, whether it's raviolis, slamon nestled in quinoa or eggs piled grilled vegetables. Sales of bowls are rising as Americans prefer more casual, one-course meals that layer flavors. Consumers are increasingly cradling their food while perched at kitchen islands while lounging on sofas.

    Ree Drummond also know as the “the pioneer woman” says she deliberately emphasized bowls when designing her new tableware collection. According to Ms. drummond, “A bowl is more flexible and open to interpretation compared to a plate. I wanted to be able to hold a dinner-stir fry and pasta-salad.”
