Most children feel the safest around their parents, but unfortunately some are put in danger as a result of their parent’s actions.

According to foxnews.com Alaina Limpert and her daughter’s father, let their child consume macaroni and cheese that contained THC, which is a chemical found in marijuana. The couple’s child is said to be at the oldest, two years of age.

THC side effects include, anxiety, confusion, vomiting, upset stomach, and hallucinations. The two year old was said to have experienced the majority of the side effects of the drug.

The police report stated, “During that time neither parent took the child to immediate emergency care.” Both parents just sat back and watched their daughter experience the effects of the THC.

According to foxnews.com, after laughing at her daughter Limpert place her daughter into their backyard pool to use the cold water to 'shock' her and get her to act normal.

Limpert admitted that she made the macaroni and cheese with THC for her husband, but their daughter ended up consuming some without her knowing.

During the investigation of the household, two marijuana grow tents, glass bongs, pipes, hash oil, mushrooms, and also in the refrigerator, three tubes of THC butter were found by local law enforcement.

Along with their daughter, three other children were taken in by the Arizona Department of Child Safety after being notified by an anonymous source.

Both the parents were charged with child abuse and they will not hear or see from their children until further sentencing.

Even though the child consumed something that could have killed her if the write amount was given, reports say she will be fine,

The parents put their child in harm’s way and watched her suffer instead of calling for help. The parents have not been charged with anything, but whatever happens will not be good.
