Fenty Beauty is a makeup line launched by Robyn Rihanna Fenty, a music, beauty, and fashion icon. Fenty Beauty focuses on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types and pinpointing universal shades.Making the line inclusive for all skin tones.

Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after years of experimenting with the “best-of-the-best” in beauty, Kendo Brands which is owned by LMHV. She is still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones.

On September 7th, 2017, in New York, Rihanna arrived to celebrate the launch of her beauty brand.

During the celebration of her launch she said, “I don’t think anyone in this building is as excited as I am today,” cooing in a short speech, calling the line her passion project.

Rihanna, according to USA Today, knows her fans. She made rounds, posing for instagram pics, and giving out hugs, showing proof that she knows them.

Fenty Beauty are designed to feel lightweight, even as they deliver buildable coverage that effortlessly layers, to “make skin look like skin.”

“Makeup is there for you to have fun with,” Rihanna said. “It should never feel like pressure, it should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different,” she said.

USA Today gathered four women with various skin tones, and poured through dozens of fan reviews, to review whether or not Rihanna’s makeup live up to the hype that it gets. According to USA Today Fenty Beauty delivers.

Celebrity products are often misleading or cheap, but the quality of the Fenty Beauty line is satisfyingly high, from the primer down to the brushes, which are considered to be seriously pro level.

"It's typically difficult for me to find a foundation that matches my skin perfectly. It's either too yellow, too red or a 'neutral' that reads with a gray tint on my face," says Anika Reed. "I've finally found a foundation that is an exact match for me,"she said.
