A lot of people watch the game of basketball and love to see a good game. Many people love to watch LeBron James play, Steph Curry and many more. But a lot of people like to watch the star Kevin Durant play.

Just last year Kevin Durant chose to sign with the Golden State Warriors, which had altered the course of the NBA more than any move in the past seasons according to cbssports.com.

“ It’s not hard to see why, as one of the leagues 3 best players joining the league's best team is a very big deal” said by cbssports.com.

People have discussed Durant’s choice as to why he did it and wa it a good move or a bad one.

“Tim Kawakami dropped a massive oral history of free agent meetings in the Hamptons in the summer of 2016, in his story he got a few key players to open up and explain about the few days especially Kevin Durant, he said that in the summer he needed “ validation from my peers”. The majority of the warriors cleared their schedules to go to the hamptons and convince Kevin to sign with the warriors.”

What KD meant by “I needed validation from my peers, teams and GM’s” was so he could have more confidence and feel good about himself so that he could work hard.

“ So when they all came, and they all put stuff to the side to come to the meeting, I was like, man, this is amazing.” The best team in the league, with some of the best players and accomplished ones want me on their team and want what i do” said by Kevin Durant according to cbssports.com.

The warriors made KD feel welcome and it made him feel like he had another home because they all wanted him to play.
