Every year there are people who want to start something new, or stop something they have been doing. For examples, some people want to stop smoking, some people want to lose weight or diet more, some people want to become more organized, some people may want to save more money and buy something big like a car. But there are always them people that say, “New Year, New me!” But do really change that much? Most likely not.

These are called New year’s resolutions. If you don’t have one, you should make one. It doesn’t have  to be anything above, just make your own, make it something you truly want to start or end.

Some people make a New Year’s resolution but never stick with it. When people want to stop something they have been doing for years it can be hard. If you have been smoking cigarettes for years, it will for sure be hard to quit. The nicotine takes a while to actually get out of your body. It is not a instant type of thing you can quit. So some of these people quit their resolution because they couldn’t wait for it the nicotine to come out.

If you want to diet, it is going to take a while for your appetite to lower. Some of these people quit this resolution because they try to instantly try to quit eating what they eat and their appetite is telling them to eat more. If it isn’t efficient enough for try to get more exercise.

If you make a resolution, try to stick with it, you will most likely be pleased of the outcome. You have to keep telling yourself to “Don’t Quit”, or “Keep Grinding”, or “Don’t Stop”. Just take your time if you have to. Change happens over time.
