Today’s schools have more technology than ever, more and more. Work is now converted onto the computer or online.

At Pocomoke High School we take all of our big tests online instead of paper. For example, our HSA is online that we must take.

Back in the middle school in 4th and 5th grade we would take MSA. MSA is the middle school version of the HSA. That MSA was our big test that we would have to take every year. After that they introduced PARCC which is more a computerized test.

10 people were surveyed. 4/10 liked the writing version better, 6/10 liked computerized better. 60% would rather do their huge test over the computer. Some people were asked “Why do you like that more?”

Daniel Christopher would rather have the writing because he thinks he is a quicker writer than typer. John Sigris replied with, “I like the computer version better because, I don’t like when there is a lot of paper on my desk, I just get overwhelmed when there is a lot anything on my desk.”

More classes for college is becoming available as well on online. This gives people the chance in college to be home and work on what they have to work on and still not have to be on a college campus or live a college dorm with roommates.
